[QuadList] VR 3000 on eBay

The 7.8 kHz connection is present (but unused) on the NTSC VR-3000's that I
have.
Other observations.....
1) The AMPEX cover plate on the top of the transport is often missing but is
present on this machine. It covers servo adjustments, and so was frequently
left off.
2) The date on the inspection sticker is '76 which makes it a very late
production unit, just before the "B" version.
3) There is a 7.5/15 speed switch. I've not seen a dual speed before. Now
I'm going to have to check the catalogs for the machines and the heads. I
never noticed that as an option.
4) There's a major modification with the multi-pin connector added to the
rear corner.
5) The capstan motor appears to have taken a serious hit to its rear cover
6) No battery or power supply installed
7) And of course, as others pointed out, no case. LOTS of potential for
damage to the underside.
