Hi Park:

I assume you haven't really tried this!  If it "works", something is wrong, because the motion sensing shouldn't let you go into play if the reels are still moving!

  Of course if you are really brave, rewind then hit FF and then stop as the tape is slowing down and hit Play just as the tape is gong about 15 IPS!
