Wow...I wish I had known that. 
But by sheer coincidence, I finally joined the ranks of amateur radio 
licensees this morning after enduring decades of derision by my high 
school radio club buddies.  Kinda cool that it was on this special radio 
anniversary....
Guess I'm officially an old man now!
