[QuadList] Ampex VR-1200 on ebay-in Apalachin, NY

ok that is not as bad as I thought it was..  I  figured it was  going to be 
 2 K lbs 

and I  thought  my one inch ampex was a moose..

was it missing the heads ?

Velcomp, probably not more than 800 lbs.  Fully  configured, they come in right 
around 1000 lbs.  The VR-2000 hits 1,300  lbs due to additional electronics and 
power supplies.  But that's  light.....an RCA TR-70 is 1,800 lbs and an 
Ampex AVR-1 weighs in at 2,200  lbs!
