Hi Don,

Yes, I will run some tests in January when I'm not so busy. December has me working almost every day until Jan 3.

The Ampex only looks soft when compared to the Merlin. I don't think the Ampex has a problem it's just that the Merlin has a bit more resolution.

But yes, a test will confirm.
