This is on E-Bay.  The asking price is $250 but no one has bit.   There are 
four offers so far for it.  I never maintained a VR-2000 so am  not sure if 
this has the split erase head. It looks like it does.  Also the  read head that 
the Editec used.  At least it was back side of tape  erasure.
