[QuadList] Guerilla splices (was NBC/RCA types)

Although RCA and NBC are synonymous.  I can remember hosing that  
stuff (Freon) around (assured that it was completely inert) and  
thinking, yeah, someday we're going to find out that it is secretly  
killing us and destroying the planet.  Which it was.
One very hot and humid day in Toronto, the little keg of the stuff  
developed a slow drip on the carpeting .... After several hours, a  
small stalagmite of water slush had accumulated-- very amusing to see.
