This Beatles concert does indeed exist on 2 " videotape, and unfortunately,
is presently in the hands of unnamed private collector, who purchased it at
auction in 2005. This site contains a picture of the tape:

And here is some of the background info on the closed circuit concert:

The Beatles Anthology DVD set contains some extracts from the videotape
version, such as "Please Please Me". The video quality is very good, but the audio
mix leaves a bit to be desired, with some distortion on the vocals.

Hopefully, the unnamed collector & the folks at Apple will one day reach an
agreement to get the full show on DVD, as it one of the Beatles best live
recorded performances!

Best,

I remember watching the live feed of the concert at AT&T Long Lines in New
Orleans. The concert was repeated for a DB so it must have been on tape, unless
there was a quick turnaround on the Kine.

I noticed one tape that is very interesting:

The lost recording of "The Beatles" live in concert in Washington DC

I saw the live closed-circuit broadcast in 1964 but have only seen poor
kines of the show after that. David, was that show recorded on tape?
