		I say:

	As I recall, the consoles I saw at SCETV looked like they matched the 
VTRs they enclosed.  The panels on either side of the machine looked 
like an extension of the machine, making it wide enough to be a little 
more than two racks across.  There was a monitor bridge at the top with 
a pix monitor and scopes.  It was wider than the consoles built by Sony 
for their BVH-2000's (which came later and I'm VERY familiar with).
	What you are describing sounds like a console intended for use with 
RCA-badged Sony VTR's.  It IS possible that this is what I saw, but I 
don't know for sure.  I don't remember if SCETV used RCA-badged Sony 
VTR's, but it's possible.  If the console you're describing was wide, 
maybe twice as wide as the VTR itself, you may have found the answer 
for me, Gary.
