The LOIRP folks posted an update on activities Thursday the 19th:

It has the latest news... and pictures. Including a head-on shot (pun  
optional) of an FR-900 head proudly carrying a VideoMagnetics sticker.

They've had to redo the motor driver circuits, and are working on  
other circuits.  The blog details what and how they did/are doing it.
