Where were the CMX edit rooms located? When I was there back in
1978,
there was only one CMX room, near the east end of the tape floor close
to the freight elevator. The edit room was equipped with 4 TR-70Cs,
the only TR-70Cs in the building at the time.

I suppose I remember the 4 TR-70s as 2 edit rooms. I must be getting old.
In those days the lowly "new guys" were only allowed in to clean the
filters!!

That is correct, sir. When I was there they were numbered 21 thru 24.
Nice pictures, Dennis. I wish Id thought of that! I have a short video of
a TCR threading & unthreading here somewhere. I must look for it and put it
on youtube.
