I thought the ball-bearing heads had a somewhat small tach wheel at  
the top, whereas the air-bearing tach was the same size as the motor  
housing.
The TRT1 pictured often used ball-bearing heads. Some day I'll reveal  
the rest of the photo that includes a 20 yr. old me in it.
