I have been told (absolute unsubstantiated possible folklore!) that the VR-1200 series had the largest production numbers. That, of course, even if true, doesn't mean there are still more of them in service. It would be interesting to know.

Not doubting that this could be the case, but curious how you established that the AVR-2 is the most common machine still in use.

If you want to help with training, send me an e-mail off-list. There is a move to provide this sort of training, beginning with AVR-2's as they are the most common Quad at this point.
