Yes, he was "Mr. ADO". Knew it inside and out. 


I met the guy who designed most of that ADO box last year, Luigi Gallo. What a brain!

I remember he was "Mr. ADO" for quite a few years as well after moving out there.  Didn't he begin doing that at ET?  I haven't had any contact with him in at least twenty years. 
If he's still a ham, maybe, in my new found status of being one, I'll surprise the heck out of him sometime on the air.  Any idea what his call is? 
If you see him again, tell him an old friend says hi.  He'll get a kick out of knowing that I'm still knee deep in quads, and probably wont' be too surprised. 
By the way, my request to the FCC for my dad's old call came through a couple of weeks ago. I am now W5LOO.  I hope to get on the air sometime this spring.
