Seeing some of this info about the TCR's and ACR's a couple of interesting things just popped into mind.
 
The capstan up/down motors in the ACR's are Chrysler window up/down motors.  I don't remember the model or year.
 
There is an air cooler in the ACR and AVR-1 which is a Volkswagen oil cooler. It is a blue-gray thing located near the top of the machine.
