[QuadList] tube record amps...

The transistor record amps were introduced in the TR-70C model.  The B  
model still had the tubes.  There was a retrofit kit offered to update your  
older TR-70 to the solid state amps.  
 
The U of Michigan Dental school had the prototype TR-70 that was B model  
with the C servo drawer.  They did the retrofit of the record  amps at a 
later time.
