[QuadList] "Fred" and ACR-25s/TCR-100s

Hello all,

My understanding is "Fred" is an acronym for "F---ing Ridiculous Electronic Device."  "Alfred" would be "Alternate F.........." (you get the picture).

Having worked with both, I'm partial to ACR-25s.  Faster, better signal processing, virtually instant roll, and if there was a threading problem (and the acr went into "test mode,") you had about a 95% chance of saving the break.  Not so much with the TCR!

BTW, can't tell you how much I enjoy reading the collective experiences and insight from this group.
