Greetings All

 

A conversation over dinner resulted in this link listed below regarding
an ACR users group, and hopefully you will see a new member to the Quad
list soon

 

Arrrh the Scanimate.

 

Well done Dave Sieg to keep one alive, yes there was one in Sydney but I
believe it was run by ColourFilm Videolab at the time.

 

The 'analogue Artist' [my term] was a Canadian Russ Maugher. It
certainly had the wow factor in its day.

I seem to recall Russ eventually 'secured' the machine for himself and
made a living from it for a while, and finally I recall It and [I think
He]

moved back to the US or Canada.

The memory fades these days.
