I worked with Wayne when he was a guest demo person for us (Ampex) at various trade shows. He had a killer Bulletin Board for ADO effects. I remember that we took him to Montreaux, and I drank with him a few times. A great and very knowledgeable guy!

Guy,
Yes, that Wayne. He did Entertainment Tonight for YEARS as their TD. Last time I saw him at ET was when I did an edit session in their studio control room/edit bay at Paramount in 1987 during the NABET/NBC labor dispute. I have run into him at various times since.
Wayne and I go back to comparing schematics & finding parts suppliers here in the Valley for the various OnTV and Select TV home brew scrambling decoder kits. He is (or was) a ham operator and had a 220 repeater at his elevated home QTH.
Those were the days...
David

Wow, Wayne Parsons. I hadn't heard that name in years!
I worked with him early in his career here in Richmond in the early
'70s. He always said I taught him "everything he ever learned about
quad machines".
I never was completely sure how to take that......LOL.
