[QuadList] Quads on snowy remotes?

I used to run a transmitter for Gene Scott on Channel 30 in Los Angeles. The transmitter was on the top of Sunset ridge at 6000'. We got snowed in often in the winter and we had two VR-1200's that we ran 24 hours a day.
The only way up to the transmitter was via 4x4.
