Hi Agn Park,

Wonder if it might be good idea to put something in the employment contract that might stop this. There was a case on the news in the past couple years where some pet shop owner had such an agreement with his employees. One of them quit and was dog walking within a few blocks, the pet business owner all but had the guy sent to Sing Sing for violating his employment contract.

I remember when Sony (I think) came out with an editor for VHS for kids to play with at home.

73,

George Keller

What was especially difficult in my past business was to replace people that had
een working for me for 6-10 years. I trained them, introduced them to my
lients and then developed their talent until they were tops in the market. They
ould then buy an Avid or a camera and take some clients with them. It would
hen be difficult to find anyone in the market with the same skills since we
ere at the top. And it would take years to hire someone and train them.
One ex-employee was satisfied to edit in their bedroom and clear $5 an hour.
ifficult to compete with a million dollar suite that still had an active loan!
Best,
ark
