Hi Skip:

I can confirm that there were military applications of airborne broadcast facilities including videotape, and they operated out of your back yard at Ft Bragg. The Psychological Operations unit at the JFK Center was a customer of ours. It's existence is well documented, but I won't discuss the particulars of things that were done. However, while the methods were interesting, the objective was to get the target audience to do what you wanted them to do without physically harming them, and I always thought it was a clever operation when used in that manner.

I was at a film archivist / moonshine symposium in West Virginia and somebody was asking about a mythical airplane that had quad machines installed on board. He said he thought it was a government owned plane and it would record video in remote locations.

I said I would ask the experts..
