[QuadList] NBC Tape Splicers (and others) for lunch

 From the lunch meeting, here are some Burbank editors looking at the  
Smitty Splicer, and recalling war stories. One guy noted "you could  
recall how good your splice was in rewind. It either had a regular,  
predictable "sound" as it went past the head, or otherwise it was  
known as a "zinger".
