[QuadList] QuadList Picture of the Day for Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2011

I found a better picture.  It is a knob between the Supply and  Take up 
reel on the VR-3000.  It is just above the guide on the video  head.  I have no 
idea what it is used for.  Any help on that part of  the answer?

I'd say the knob might be found on an Ampex audio machine, particularly  
the AG-600.

Is it a VR-3000?  The lever was never on a RCA machine.   Never on a full 
size Ampex.  So that does not leave much other than a  cleaner, foreign 
machine, or the VR-3000.
