  This has to therefore be a CMC DOC module.  The thought was that Merlin might of done something, but after further thought, I do not remember any products from them like this.

      You deserve an "at a boy" for getting a good one.  First this is a board with 24 pins so it fits the signal system of the VR-1200 or VR-2000.  Next the previous respondents noted the delay line.  So the only conclusion that I can come up with is that this is a one line delay module for the VR-1200 or VR-2000.

      Next is the fact that this is not the Ampex color for a circuit board.  Therefor it was made by another manufacture.  Also the IC's on it suggests that it may be after market.  Date codes indicate that at least one of the IC's was manufactured in 1978.  So how about CMC or Merlin?
