[QuadList] Question of the week

And when I posted the AVR-1B, I was not sure if there was a digital TBC version of the AVR-1 as there was with the ACR. So it was a guess, but Chris said there were 21 and that was the only way I could get there. So if there wasn't a "B", then Park will be disillusioned because I will have made two mistakes!

I think this is the list. But was there a B version of the AVR-1?
The B version of the ACR-25 had the digital TBC rather than the glass delay lines.
I would like to know if there were B versions of the 1001 or 1002.
Bill, your turn on this one. The rest are complete as far as I know.
It shows how much more we care about the Ampex brand than that other one. We know the Ampex brand a lot better and I would be that most of the machines still in existence and running are Ampex.

The 1195 was not a real Ampex model, just a name used by some for the updated machines. The VR-1500 was helical scan. So I've deleted those and added to your list........
