Here is a couple pictures. CMC had 2 style DPT's (Dynamic Parallel Tracking)
. The older version as you can see had a frame around the crystal. Ampex
started putting metal bumps in the drum preventing the old style from being
installed. CMC redesigned their DPT removing the frame.
