OK, George and Folks,

He was not the one who brought QE through, that was Richard Elkus Sr. who was the COB, during our recovery period. Now my brain gets fuzzy, since the ADO was introduced in 1982 @ NAB, along with the VPR-80.

My friend Ken Reginer, was upstairs and offered to let here more a picture around on the ADO,with the "Joystick".
She tried but did not push it enough, so Kenny reached over and put his hand over hers to help her along.

That's major NO, NO! You don't touch the Queen!!!!

Maybe that's why Elkus bought an Aston Martin coupe shortly afterwards.

Now, my problem is that we were owned by Allied Signal @ that time, so what the hell was Elkus doing at that time, unless Charlie Steinberg had Elkus come in just because she was coming?

Bye for now, Bill & Gewyn & Ginger (whoof...whoof)

OK, Thanks Bill for the brain dustoff. I understand he is a real big deal, actually brought QE into the plant at one time for tour. Did you meet her??

Hi George, and Folks

Great Pictures

One thought, If you are referring to the Guy that bought Ampex in 1987/88, his name is Edward Bramson.
Yes, he's English, but he is shy, and doesn't know how to judge people.
He's good at working with Bankers and Stock Manipulations.

Ted, all

Here are a couple shots taken in 1009.

I guess Richard Branson kept his word about the sign.
