Hi Don,

I believe I know too much!

Even though I was not working in engineering at the time of this device.

Bye for now, Bill & Gewyn & Ginger (whoof...whoof)

Hi Bill:

Well, you have some things right and some wrong.  So as not to give
away the answer, I'll not get into specifics until we get some more
answers.

Don

  The
module frame looks like an AVR-2/3 type module, but it is obviously a one line
delay and the AVR-2/3 had 2 line delay, but were digital and didn’t have any
connectors on the front, but the AVR-1 had connectors and did the correction
in analog, but I remember those delay lines as more long rectangular and
  black, but then who knows????

  Hi Park:

You're on the right track, but let me just say that this is
  firmly rooted in Quad history.

    Hi Don,

Well, based on recent conversations, it looks like some
type of TBC from an Ampex VTR. Something from a 1" type "A"?

Best,

    Park
