Can't tell you, but whatever head it does have, was rebuilt by Videomax:




Hard to tell how much time is on the TR-4... but to my eye, the  
leading digit in the counter is a "0":

It's actually a black and white monitor/waveform monitor combination.
And it likely did come from a small college UHF station!



This package was available on RCA's TR-11 "Compact" Television Tape  
Recorder as an option.

It went into the right-hand rack, and replaced a blank insert next to  
the control panel.



You can see the blank panel in this "hold the brochure up to the  
iSight camera" picture.



Look for some real scans on the website coming up.

RCA buffs will be pleased.
