Howdy from where it's just getting light in the US.
I'm trying to solve a problem involving an SD-SDI signal with embedded
digital audio: We need to be able to adjust the audio level within
the stream before it hits any other downstream devices.
The level adjustment can't cause any picture to sound sync issues or
degrade the picture or sound quality.
Any idea whether there's such a product out there?
A small box solution would be ideal, rather than a rack-mounted
device. Rack cards in an independent, single-card housing with inboard
or wall-wart power supply is fine.
I'll be contacting Ensemble and Cobalt again to see if they've
introduced something in the last 12-18 months
If you are aware of something from either or other manufacturers,
please contact me off-list at ted at flashscan8.us
New thought: A combination of boxes could work: IE: Dis-embed the
audio, allow for level control, re-embed the audio.
Much thanks!
