[QuadList] Grass Valley

Hi

Gee I remember after the days that you mention and when it as the in- thing
to focus on core competencies that operations like the pc fab and metal
shops were either shut down or sold. The old GVG metal shop was sold to a
group that has several locations and is still running and doing metal work
for many of the GV video companies. Boards for a long time have been
stuffed outside and over seas. Now the final assembly and test are going
somewhere. We may learn more as the rumblings go around town.

It is interesting that they quote employment number from back a couple of
years ago. Wonder what it really is today. I was there 76-98 and it was
wonderful.
