[QuadList] Ampex Switcher Group

WGN Chicago had three big Ampex switchers in service for years in the upstairs control rooms. T. hen shut down and just sitting there for more years. Eventually gone, not sure to a buyer or to the dumpster.
The smaller remote truck (pre-Barth) late 70's had Ampex cameras.
At WSNS-TV 44 in Chicago we had an Ampex Transmitter on the 97th floor of the John Hancock Center. Biggest Ampex nameplate you've ever seen!
