[QuadList] On-line Quad Videotape Group streaming event at NAB--

Greetings from California, where we're prepping for the Lunch at NAB and the live streaming event that follows.

I've had several e-mails and a phone call asking for more information about the streaming event.

What I can tell you:

It's in the early prep stage and I don't have much to tell beyond what was in the "Dessert" section of the last NAB lunch message.

Background:

I was contacted about an opportunity by Mitch Jacobson, an editor in NYC and during NAB a producer for a company that's been doing live streaming demos from its booth in Central Hall for several years.

Mitch has wanted to make the NAB lunch for several years, but hasn't been able... booth duty.

We've tentatively booked from 1:30p to 2:30p, Tuesday, April 17 for a panel presentation/discussion on the history of Quad Videotape and the issues regarding migration of Quad and other videotapes.

I'm trying to find out how many people can be accommodated so we can structure what happens and not over-promise participation beyond what's possible.

That said:

If you're planning to be at NAB, and will have some time after lunch to participate, please let me know what you'd bring to the presentation... in terms of articulation and perhaps something physical to illustrate problem/solution or "Gotchas" to be aware of.
