Well remember when the A-42 stillstore and the A-52 DVE (moving boxes) were must have items in any sports mobile unit. Then the A-53 (new and improved) which did lots more then just move boxes around. Still have a Deveous on the MU I'm running now (NCP/NEP Supershooter 4).

Dave,
I used the A42 still store on sports remotes and the A62 DDR for layering. Later in editing life, I used the RTD 4224 along with an Axial 2020 and an early Axial 4:2:2 switcher in a D-1 edit bay. Still later, I worked worked with a Dveous. All of these products were first rate. Still have a Axial 3000 in the tape room for some functions.
I've had a couple of occasions to sit down with Luigi Gallo at his home in the bay area who was instrumental in the development of the Accom noise reducer and earlier at Ampex, the ADO. He is quite the design engineer.
Best Regards,
David Crosthwait

Floppy drive on the back side of the machine. And it seems to run on IRIX, so getting from Mac w/o floppy to Discus with floppy in ?? format will be interesting.
