[QuadList] Quad Quiz of the Week

Ken got it first.

This is the mirror image head built for the AVR-1.  It was used with  the 
high speed duplicator.  There were only a few made.  The last one  that I 
heard that existed was in the Washington DC area.  The one at NET  then Mark 
Video in Ann Arbor went up in flames with the building.  A very  interesting 
device.  It was used in the days of bicycling tapes for  distribution.

The other little know fact is that the master tape had such a high Orested  
that it was virtually impossible to erase them.  3M got stuck with a pallet 
 of the stuff in their Michigan warehouse after that fire.  Never to be  
sold.

We had a discussion about a year or two about this process on the  board.
