Nice to see a TAPE room looking like a Videotape Room. I sure miss those days!
Even if there is a TR-600 spoiling the view (my LEAST favorite machine of all time.

This is the Digest of the QuadList. Celebrating four years of Quad Conversations, July 25, 2012
Please change the subject line from "Digest" and Trim your post to JUST the relevant info when replying. That prevents the entire digest from re-posting.
You can copy and paste or highlight the desired material before hitting "reply" in most e-mail clients.
That will keep the entire digest and a bunch of headers with gobblydgook from being re-sent to the list.
Your subscribe, unsubscribe and digest options are at the bottom of the digest.
Thanks.

Thank you Matt and David.
?
No-these machines are not going to get recycled-or resold. With the added workload I been?getting lately?I will put a couple of them online and keep the rest for spare parts and probably retire one of the old and very tired VR-1200s.
I feel very fortunate and lucky to have been in a position right now to afford them and able to make the purchase to upgrade my quad transfer capabilities and keep the quad transfers ?rolling for a ?few more years into the future.
And a very special thanks to Bill Spencer and Northstar Studios !
Larry

Back in 2009, Bill Spencer posted (or tried to) post these photos of his working machines in reply to a thread about rebuilding TR-600's.
At the time, his initial pictures were too big. I've re-sized them here to fit under the "1MB total message size" wire.
Very nicely cared for machines, as I can attest from a 2010 visit to Bill and the Northstar facility.
Larry will have a very full basement shortly.
Congratulations. We're looking forward to periodic updates as any additional machines are brought on-line.
