[QuadList] Spliced programs

I have just done 30 tapes that were tape edited and although 15 were baked,
(sticky tape backing)  I didn't have one splice failure. The only problem I
did see was on the baked tapes that the splices caused a disturbance on the
output on the oxide side (1 track dropout) . So in about 400 splices all ok.
With tape splices on film though I had a miserable time, 400 film splices
everyone had to be remade.

I have had a few splices give. Only on the tape cleaner, never on the
machine. Good thing we still have a couple of smith splicers still working.
