QuadList member Eric Wencour advised another list that NPR was having a "moving sale" via an online auction.

They are auctioning complete studios, including the long-time home of All Things Considered and Morning Edition. (Perhaps they can get hosts to autograph items? Is the NPR News sign included?)

There are several music production studios and some self-operated production facilities used by reporters.

Also various lots of "removed from rack" equipment. There are digital and anlaog recorders, eqs, filters, audio DAs and other audio tools that would be useful in the audio side of videotape recovery and restoration.

Several stacks of DolbySR/A rack-mount gear that could be helpful for tapes recorded with these forms of noise reduction.

Sale ends April 15, so you can still attend NAB and have something left to play with, especially if you win big at one of the casinos... or your tax refund has arrived by then.
