Hi George:

They're not in the little Ampex book, but they are in the full parts catalog.  383 is a 2N2484 and 506 is an SM3187.  At least the 383 was used in quad machines, not sure about the 506.  If you don't want them, let me know.

  Wonder if anyone has the litle gray Ampex book of equivilant (Real Number) transistors.  I found a few in a cleanup of my ham shack and they look too nice to take to the dump. Also I can't seem to find my little gray Ampex book, I must have taken it to the dump.


  They are 014 383 and 014 506.
