Hi Ted:

Thanks to you and Randy for sharing!  This is good material.

However, someone (marketing?) has taken a bit of liberty with the Convention story.  If you look at the picture on page 5 that is captioned "One of three dual VR-2000 equipped recorder stations.....", you'll see that the machines in the picture are VR-1200 sidecar machines, not VR-3000's.  There are several very distinct differences in the machines that make them easy to identify.
