Ampex Video Head Untested for Parts/Repair

Hi Chris:

The picture shows a transistor preamp, not nuvistor.  But wow, it is in awful shape and already has a bidder.  There were some similar, awful shape units recently that also sold.  I can’t imagine what anyone could do with heads in this condition.

Boy is this one in bad shape.  But it does have a VR-2000 preamp.
