Hi Mitch:
There were several different Maurice DVE units that were made by CEL. It consisted of a TBC/Frame-sync base unit, and the DVE controller was added to that. There were single channel and dual channel units as well as several different effects packages. I had the “privilege” of servicing one of these systems that belonged to a customer of ours who bought it from one of our competitors and then complained to us when it didn’t work right and they didn't support it. So, my memories of the unit are not pleasant. I hope you had a better experience!
I may have some catalog sheets that I could scan for you. The TBC portion of one recently appeared on eBay. Look at item 221617953283 . There are some fairly good pictures of the unit in the listing.

A little off-topic, but I'll ask anyway.
Once upon a time, we had a very early DVE called "Maurice". I believe it was a British unit. Bought as a package with a Beston CG (later became a US company, Aston). Anyway, does anyone remember a "Maurice". Been trying to find a picture or some info about it. It'd be from the late 80s.
Anyone??
