Yes. We (The Library of Congress) are the home of the American
Archive content. We are also the largest single holder of publicly
funded media content .
CPB (the Corporation for Public Broadcasting) provided the funding.
WGBH is the project lead.
Crawford Media Services in Atlanta has been doing the migrations
under contract from CPB.
AVPS (Audio Visual Preservation Services) have been the metadata wranglers.
The Library of Congress is the home of the entire content collection.
A copy of the their own migrated content also goes to each of the
participating stations.
