AVR-1 modulator.

Hi guys,
When you look for problems you're likely to find them. I was looking at the output of the AVR-1 in E-E. I have a dedicated 
Tek TSG-170 on each (AVR-1 and AVR-2) quad machine and I turned on the 'bounce'. The AVR-2 has a slight level changeof maybe 1/2 IRE when mostly white. The AVR-1 on the other hand collapses >5 IRE during white. The white cal pulse seems 
stable. Another  modulator (#103) does the same thing but I have a hard time believing Ampex would have accepted 
that. I don't have any plans to do any recording on it but I like things to behave.
