[QuadList] Multiple posts--(or posts not showing up)--A potential solution--

Hi, Don and List members,
I know that this has been an ongoing problem with a seemingly un-identifiable cause or causes.
I’ve been considering moving the QuadList to the same platform that Matt Patoray moved OldVTRs to. Matt is also a member of the QuadList. Thanks for investigating options, Matt. I am impressed with the choice.
I’d like to know if any of our QuadList members who have had problems in the past are experiencing any issues sending or receiving posts on OldVTRs from the e-mail addresses that have problems doing so to the QuadList.
If folks who have had issues with posting/receiving want to register and participate in a test, click here:
https://groups.io/g/QuadVideotapeGroup
That would be Don, David Crosthwait, and several others. Greg Schmitz has also reported problems with a recent post not appearing.
We have had issues with members who use AOL, Yahoo and Gmail, due to how those e-mail hosts and MailMan have handled headers and addressing.
If you’ve had QuadList issues and you’d like to participate in the test, please register at the above link, confirm your registration and then BCC to the IO group e-mail address any posts you send to the QuadList at QuadVideotapeGroup.com.
I’ll change some settings as test people are added.
Moving forward with platform change:
As of tonight, we have 197 members world-wide listed in the MailMan database. Ten are “unsubscribed” but I think some are reading the archives on-line.
So, 187 recipients should be able to read this message.
My major hurdles with making the move involve getting the MailMan database moved so that e-mail addresses and related first and last names go over.
The MailMan archives are item two, as I want them to be available from one place for everyone’s ease and convenience.
I’ll be working with the IO engineers to help with both.
One of the things that’s cool about the IO platform is that posts to the Quad Videotape Group Facebook page automatically post to the IO page and e-mails that go out.
That said, I hope you have all had a weekend that’s been festive, celebratory, warm and with family and friends you care about.
Merry Christmas, (which, for our Orthodox Christian friends, is Jan. 7,) Happy Hanukkah, and/or whatever holy days or holidays you may be celebrating this time of year.
A new year is fast approaching. I hope it brings the things you need, and a world in which there are far fewer conflicts among people, foreign and domestic.
If only it were as simple as shotgunning some caps and realigning some circuits.

Then the other two showed up later, each about 4 minutes apart. On the one (#3) that went thru correctly, I changed the subject, a trick suggested by David C. If Ted or anyone else has any idea of what the problem may be, please share. Seems that sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't, or it may have to "think" about it for a while. Very frustrating!
