Back in the late 1960s when I began my career, I was involved (quite remotely) with MPATI - Midwest Program on Airborne Television Instruction.  They flew DC-6s at 30k feet with VTRs and two UHF transmitters in a figure-eight pattern broadcasting in-classroom TV instruction.  Attached are three photos of the on-board VTRs.  I don't recognize them.  Do any of you?  I'd be interested in finding out.
Boy, talk about the precursor to satellite distribution!!
