This guy is doing computer restoration in Silicon Valley. He has a Xerox Alto and had just taken delivery of a 1970’s vintage IBM tape drive.

Vacuum columns and capstan. Rotted vacuum tubing like a RCA TR-600. Reel motors from France. It’s got everything, except a headwheel or scanner. :)
