<DIV>Regarding the Mod for the fine Capstan pot. Yes it does disable the
625 pot. That is now an open circuit when the machine is used in the 625
mode. This is an NTSC only mod.</DIV>

<DIV>It does make the adjustment for the machine a lot easier when it is used
for editing. Our two machines were a playback and an editing
machine. We added a RA-4000 and then AVR-2's to the mix. The quality
of the edits was crucial as many of the machines at stations or other places
were not even close to proper alignment. We had to holier than Cesar's
wife when it came to the tapes that were made. It was a matter of
pride.</DIV>
