<DIV>This AVR-2 is one of the later versions. A couple of things that I
noticed. The circuit breakers are factory installed. These were
placed between the transformer and the bridge rectifiers of the power
supplies. There is a breaker for each supply. The other thing is
that this unit has the rubber bumpers on the rear of the deck. I did not
have these on the serial number 900 series that I had. I think this is one
of the units with the reinforced deck frame. Another clue is that the unit
has the electronic tape timer. There is also a hole for the air hose that
did not exist on early models. </DIV>

<DIV>I would consider this a later unit and would have almost all the latest
boards. The biggest thing that I would worry about is the condition of the
tape path. Storage being in an outside unit with no climate control.
How bad is the corrosion of every roller, guide and head in the tape path.
That would be the expensive cost. </DIV>
